Our Approach

Collaborative Learning emphasizes a combination of group and instructor-driven learning where knowledge evolves to application by engaging the added perspectives of fellow learners. Why? This approach creates a richer and sustainable learning and team development opportunity for all levels of learners.

Centred Performance provides a learning environment that reflects today’s changes in the workplace and responds to how learners at all levels need and want to learn.

Here’s how our Centred Performance approach works:

AIM
Every new client engagement begins with a collaborative client vision session. Guided by your organization’s strategic ambition and imperatives, the client vision assessment clearly defines essential changes in performance and behaviours. Based upon a shared understanding, Centred Performance develops a plan to address your immediate and long-term learning and development needs with a focus on research, strategy, tactics and implementation.

TRAIN
Changing behaviour at the front line requires a focus on the transfer, application and adoption of bespoke knowledge, skills and tools. This often involves learning how to do something for the first time and then expanding the breadth and depth of what was learned. Exercises and practice scenarios provide the vehicles for learners to apply what has been learned using unique client-specific situations and scenarios. All of Centred Performance’s “TRAIN” efforts are based on what we discover during our comprehensive and collaborative “AIM” discovery process.

GAIN
“TRAIN” turns to “GAIN” when workshop tools and skills become habits. Through individual and team-based coaching and mentoring, Centred Performance enables leaders to be confident and competent in “Walking the Talk” and in being effective coaches when team members require fine-tuning or refreshers of a skill or behaviour.

SUSTAIN
Long-term success requires organizations to “SUSTAIN” the “GAINS” they achieved during training, collaborative learning, and coaching. The key is to monitor and to measure changes in skills, habits and outcomes and to take steps to remedy problems that present barriers to success.

What Does Centred Performance Mean?

An organization’s results are directly related to the performance of its people. “Centred Performance” means striking the optimal balance between performance, empathy and client engagement.

As your strategic partner, Centred Performance designs, implements and sustains programs to achieve this optimal balance across three business-critical areas of focus — leadership, sales and service.
